The NMI's La Hunn Lam's stay in Fiji has been extended after he was invited to two International Tennis Federation competitions following his victory in the Boys Singles 14 event of the recently concluded 2023 Pacific Oceania Junior Championships in Lautoka, Fiji.  "I am grateful and excited to stay for two ITF tournaments in Fiji — it will definitely be a wonderful experience for me," the 13-year-old said. "ITF tournaments have a lot of good players from all around the world. It’s an awesome opportunity for me to get to play against them. It will be difficult to win, but I will do my best to win one match at a time."
