FOR 15 years now, CNMI Drag Queen Joan Oliverio has been the “transformation fairy godmother” for many community members.
“I love it when my clients feel confident about themselves and more beautiful after I have done their make-up or after I cut their hair,” she told Variety in an interview.

“I feel happy when my customers are happy. As a beautician, I think it is my life purpose to make my clients feel good about themselves. Everyone is beautiful or handsome in their own way,” she said.
